EU Right of Withdrawal Policy

This EU Right of Withdrawal Policy applies to consumers located in the European Union who purchase goods from Great American Sleep Store through greatamericansleepstore.com. This Policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

1. Right to Withdraw

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.

For orders delivered in multiple shipments, the withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receives the last item.

If the withdrawal period expires on a non-working day, the deadline is extended until the next working day where applicable.

4. Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from your purchase, we will reimburse payments received from you for the returned goods, including the least expensive standard delivery option offered at the time of purchase where required by applicable law.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless you expressly agree otherwise.

5. Return of Goods

You must send back the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal.

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless the return is due to defective, damaged, incorrect, or non-conforming goods, or unless applicable law requires otherwise.

For furniture, oversized items, or freight items, return costs may be significant. Please contact us before arranging return shipment so that we can provide appropriate return instructions.

6. Reduction in Refund for Use or Damage

You are responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Furniture should be returned unassembled where possible, with all parts, accessories, hardware, manuals, and original packaging.

7. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal may not apply to certain goods, including goods made to the customer's specifications, personalized goods, sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed, goods that become inseparably mixed with other items after delivery, and other exceptions permitted by applicable law.

8. Defective or Non-Conforming Goods
